Dana Cerrito has been writing poetry since the age of nine. A former publishing executive, Dana was grateful to be able to navigate the bookmaking process in order to see this project come to life. On the Day Love Was Born is her first voyage into the creative world of children’s book publishing, and she hopes it will touch the hearts of parents and little ones alike. Dana lives in New England with her wife and daughter. She wrote this sentimental story for her daughter, who was adopted at birth.
As the founder and President of Little Hill Publishers, Dana hopes to give voice to lesser-known authors who offer enriching content and a fresh perspective.

From a very young age, Lauren Gallegos has had a passion for the arts. Her love of drawing prompted her to pursue and achieve a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Cal State Fullerton, and her talents have since been employed as a Freelance Illustrator. She has journeyed into the world of children's books with excitement and a desire to see how her work will impact the young minds of our future.
